Esther Christina (Eckelberry) Edenburn
Esther Christina (Eckelberry) Edenburn, age 97, Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023. She was born on November 21, 1925 in Newcomerstown, Ohio to the late Clement and Thelma (Little) Eckelberry.
She worked for Shaw Barton for many years before retiring. Esther enjoyed the outdoors, working in her yard and gardening. She loved the Cleveland Indians and was known for making the best homemade pies. She was a member of the Moravian Church in Port Washington and the Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia.
Esther is survived by her three loving children, Roger Beighley of Coshocton, Mildred Popadack and Bernard Beighley both of Lebanon, Ohio; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rachel Nastoff, Martha Hoffman and Nelly Walters.
Along with her parents, Esther is preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Edward Beighley, Marvin Addy and Dwight Edenburn; her son, Larry Beighley, step-daughter, Virginia (Ralph) King and four sisters, Mary Engle, Marjory Murphy, Ruth McCune and Betty Glazer.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Port Washington, Ohio.
