Everet Lee Beatty
Everet Lee Beatty, 67, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2023 at Knox Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
He was born Nov. 13, 1955 in Mt. Vernon to the late Laurence Lee and Charlotte Loman (Finnicum) Beatty. He was a 1974 graduate of River View High School, and a life-long farmer. He served as President for the GAR Bean Dinner, and he was a member and Deacon at Perry Chapel Baptist Church.
In times of better health, Everet enjoyed hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Becky (Lake) Beatty of Walhonding, whom he married July 8, 1978; his children, James L. Beatty, Amanda L. Beatty, David L. Beatty, & Ethan L. Beatty, all of Walhonding; a brother, Charles L. (Sherry) Beatty of Walhonding; two sisters, Linda M. (Bill) Tompkins of McConnelsville, and Nancy L. Beatty (Lisa Bernard) of Charlotte, NC; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Melissa Kelley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at Perry Chapel Baptist Church, 19476 TR 380 Warsaw, OH 43844, with Pastor Bob Adelsperger officiating. Burial will follow at Dennis Church Cemetery in Knox Co. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
