Fair passes available for veterans
COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Veterans Service Office is pleased to announce that during the upcoming fair, a free veterans’ pass will again be available to honorably discharged veterans who are residents of Coshocton County.
Each pass will provide one free admission of the veterans’ choice between Monday, Oct. 5 through Thursday, Oct. 8.
Passes may be picked up at the Veterans Service Office during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14 through Wednesday, Sept. 30.
Veterans must be able to provide proof of service and county residency in order to receive one of the passes. The numbered passes must be signed for and are not transferable. They must then present the pass at any of the fairground entrances.
The passes are being made possible by Blue Star Mothers Chapter OH #59 and Coshocton County Veterans Council.
The pass is good for admission only. Rides and/or concessions are not included.
The 164th Coshocton County Fair runs from Friday, Oct. 2 through Thursday, Oct. 8.
The veterans’ office is located in the basement of the Court House, 318 Main St.
