Together Again

Fay Althea Hutchison, age 89, of Coshocton, died suddenly due to surgical complications at Genesis Hospital on February 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 6, 1935, to Charles and Cleatus (Donahoo) Stevens in Newark, Ohio.

She spent 51 incredible years with her late husband, George Junior Hutchison, who she married on September 18, 1960. He passed away on February 15, 2012.

Fay was a wonderful woman who sacrificed much to raise her children and grandchildren.

When she wasn’t spending time with her family, or being coerced into gardening with George, she enjoyed reading, puzzles, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Fay often tried her luck with lottery scratch-off tickets, in addition to many trips to the casino.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Mike) Green of Coshocton, Patty (Tony) Cronin of Warsaw, Sandy (Rick) Winegar of Coshocton, Scott Hutchison of Coshocton, Ronnie (Teresa) Hutchison of Conesville, and Mike (Becky) Hutchison of Fresno, and her grandchildren, Christopher (Erin) Green, Kim (Clifton) McCombs, Kevin (Melissa) Cronin, Matthew (Tabitha) Cronin, Steven (Roxanne) Hutchison, Stacey (Andy) Sampsel, Kacee Hutchison, Michelle (Dave) Page, and Jenny (Chase Dyer) Hutchison, as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Charles Stevens of Malta, along with several nieces and nephews.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Don) Chaney, as well as her sister-in-law, Joyce Stevens.

Calling hours were held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 12:00 pm with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial was held at Franklin Cemetery.
