FCA student to speak at Lenten Luncheon

| March 24, 2025

Kierston Latham

Kierston Latham will be the speaker at the fourth Coshocton County Lenten Luncheon on March 26. Her message will address the theme, “Connecting to God Through Trust” using the Biblical text from Psalms 37. The luncheon is held at The Presbyterian Church, 142 N. Fourth St., across from the court square. The event begins at 11:45 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.

Latham is a senior at Ridgewood Hight School and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She has been with the organization for a year and is a leader within that group. She attributes her growth in the Christian faith and leadership skills to her involvement with FCA. Playing basketball is one of her interests that also includes visiting other youth groups and events plus being with her family. Members of the FCA and their advisor, John Strasser will introduce Latham. Special music will be provided by Nick Johnson.

Church Women United, led by Christa Citola, coordinates the churches that provide soups, pies and workers for each Luncheon. Members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes volunteer their time to assist the church workers. Churches assisting with the fourth luncheon will be Conesville, Prairie Chapel and Fresno United Methodist Churches. The suggested donation of $5 benefits Church Women United’s Clothe a Child Project which provides clothing and shoes for children of Coshocton County that are in need.

Parking is available adjacent to the church and in the city parking lot at the rear of the church, accessible from Chestnut Street.
