Felony traffic stop leads to arrest of two

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on Aug. 29 in reference to a possible armed robbery in progress. During the investigation of the incident, deputies were able to make a felony traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle on US 36.

An adult male and female were taken in to custody as a result of the investigation and stop. Also seized in the incident were a large amount of drugs and cash.

On Aug. 30, Allen “AK” L. Knott, 28 years old and from the Coshocton area, and Crystal N. Wilson, 31 years old and from the Coshocton area, were both charged with kidnapping, a felony of the first degree. Additional charges are likely pending review from the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
