Former Ridgewood Local School District employee arrested

COSHOCTON – On Nov. 7, detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 300 block of S. Ninth St. in reference to an ongoing investigation of a school employee having a sexual relationship with a student.
As a result of this investigation, Justin L. Howell, a 25 year old male from the Coshocton area, was arrested in the afternoon on Nov. 7 in reference to a relationship he had with a student while employed with Ridgewood Local School District. His employment was terminated on Oct. 25. On Nov. 8, he was formally charged with Sexual Battery, a Felony of the 3rd Degree.
The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office and Ridgewood Local School District is assisting detectives with this ongoing investigation.
