Frances Julia Casey

MOUNT VERNON – Frances Julia Casey, 96, of Yauger Rd. died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born Feb. 22, 1919 in Coshocton County to the late Joseph F. and Rose (Dete) Weil.

She was employed for 50 years at General Motors.  She was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, a 1936 graduate of Warsaw High School and an avid reader.

She is survived by two nieces, Peg (Donald) King and Jo Anne Beatty of Mount Vernon.  A great niece, Julie (Jack) Miller of Wooster and a great nephew, Craig (Ronda) Rheinscheld of Mount Vernon.  Great great nephew & niece, Zachary, Seth, Caleb, & Lily.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, V.M. Casey, whom she married in June of 1941, he died in May of 1978.  Also sisters, Gertrude DeNio & Ruth Laughlin, a brother, Clement Weil, and brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jack & Lee Casey.

Funeral mass will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 139 Main St. Glenmont, OH with Father Stephen Krile officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
