Franklin Eugene Mills Sr.
Franklin Eugene Mills Sr., 89, of Coshocton passed away on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021. He was born on Sept. 26, 1931, in Meigs County Ohio to Franklin O. Mills and Oma (Carter) Mills.
During his senior year of high school, Frank was drafted to the United States Army, where he served his country proudly. He enjoyed fishing, boating on the Ohio River and traveling.
Frank is survived by his son, Franklin “Frank” E. (Jeanie) Mills Jr. of Coshocton; seven grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Frank, Randy, Gina, Amanda, Eugene, Sonny, Amanda and Sara; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Bill Hysell of Columbus; and very special friend, Sue Wilcox and her son Bill Wilcox.
Along with his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ann Marie (Ankrum) Mills who passed away in 2002, daughter, Yvonne Dodd who passed away herself just six short hours before her dad passed away, daughter, Tiva Mills and step-father, who raised him, Charles Hysell.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Letart Fall Cemetery in Meigs County, Ohio with military honors.
