Hammersley, 59, of Coshocton passed away at Autumn Extended Care on Thursday February 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Frannie was born in Coshocton on January 31, 1955 to Sanford Stanley and Margie (McClain) Appis.  She had worked for Hopewell Industries for 17 years and also worked in home health.  Frannie was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing with her husband.  She is survived by her husband Steve R. Hammersley Sr.; daughter Dawn (Jason) Weller of Coshocton; mother Margie Appis of Zanesville; step sons Steven (Jami) Hammersley Jr. of Coshocton and Justin Hammersley of AR; step daughters Stephanie (Russell) Fry of Coshocton, Stacy (Ryan) McCormick of Coshocton and Kirstie Hammersley of AR; sisters Brenda Moran, Karen (Hawk) Spearman and Jonna (Bob) Sharp all of Zanesville; four grandchildren; ten step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several other family members and special friends.  Per her wishes, a cremation will take place.  Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday February 17, 2014 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton “Hospice”, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
