Fredrick I. Fox

CHILLICOTHE – Fredrick I. “Fred” Fox, 69, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born July 17, 1948 in Coshocton County. Fred grew up there until enrolling at Indiana Wesleyan University in 1966. He graduated from TCU in 1970 and then from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1973. Shortly thereafter, he became the pastor of the First Wesleyan Church in Chillicothe and remained as senior pastor until December 2013. He was serving as associate pastor until the time of his death. He was a good and faithful servant of the Lord.

He is survived by his cousins, Mary Ann (James) Williamson of Warsaw, Sonny (Lois) Fox of Danville, Edwin (Betty) Fox of Coshocton, and Beverly (Chuck) Carrier of Galion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vera (Van Allistine) Fox, and a cousin, Virginia Fox.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at South Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is assisting the family with arrangements – www.fischerfuneralhome.com.
