Free basic knitting class offered in Roscoe Village

| March 4, 2020
Join the Coshocton Canal Spinners and Weavers Guild as they host a knitting for beginners workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the visitors center in Historic Roscoe Village. This free workshop is open to the public, providing hands-on instruction to learn basic knitting. Topics will include tools used in knitting as well as knitting techniques such as casting on and basic knit and purl stitches. Guild members will also provide a list of their favorite knitting resources.
Class participants are encouraged to bring their own knitting needles and yarn. The guild will have extra tools available if needed. Class size is limited to allow ample time for questions and one-on-one assistance. Advanced registration is encouraged. To sign up or get more information, e-mail Theresa at tellen65@hotmail.com or call or text 740-973-9070. For additional questions, contact Roscoe Village Foundation at 740-622-7644, ext. 17.
