Fresno farmer’s market making plans for a comeback
The Fresno Farmer’s Market is making a comeback, as West Lafayette Farmer’s Market.
The new market will feature the vendors you know and love from Fresno Farmer’s Market and be located in Burt Park in West Lafayette starting May 25 and running through Sept. 21 of 2024. The market will be open Saturdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and offer produce, crystals, jewelry, books, baked goods, crafts, flowers, plants, and more.
The new locale, right across from the Ridgewood football field, features trees for shade, public restrooms, and paved sidewalks for the convenience and ease of access for visitors with mobility issues. There will be street parking, with additional parking available at the school, a short walk across Johnson Street. The market has reserved the picnic shelter, so rain or shine, vendors will be available.
All vendor fees proceeds will be donated to the village of West Lafayette to help care for the park. If you’re interested in becoming a vendor, visit the West Lafayette Farmer’s Market Facebook page or send an email inquiry to westlafayettefarmersmarket@gmail.com.
