Fresno Farmer’s Market to open on May 23

| May 7, 2020

The Fresno Farmer’s Market will open on Saturday, May 23. Market hours will be from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday at the Fresno Bible Church.

All vendors of home raised produce or homemade items are welcome. Each vendor is responsible for supplying their own tables/tent and for selling their own products. Tents must be weighed or tied down. Vendors will be required to have a mask and sanitizer on hand in accordance with the new mandates. If you have any further questions about becoming a vendor you can contact Sheila at 330-243-2022 or Angie at 740-610-5490 or send a message on Facebook.

With the current COVID-19 pandemic, organizers have implemented some new measures and rules to keep vendors and customers as safe as possible. They will be implementing one-way shopping. Customers will enter one direction and exit at the opposite end. Social distancing of six feet should be maintained. There will be one customer/family per vendor allowed behind the barrier. So if there are 15 vendors, we will allow 15 customers. Customers can approach a vendor’s table, look at (no touching) and choose their product, vendors will bag the item/s and payment can be made at that time. Due to limited sanitizing options, if you touch an item you must purchase it. Masks for customers are not mandatory. Hot food by donation also is suspended this year.
