Galentine’s Day party planned for Feb. 12
Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce and Coshocton Regional Medical Center are inviting everyone to a Galentine’s Day Party on Monday, Feb. 12. The Women’s Empower – Her Network Event will be from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Coshocton Community Room, 637 Chestnut St. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased through the Facebook event page.
Amy Crown, director of the chamber of commerce said, “Over the last several years, I have been following inspirational women in business and other communities that host annual events. I was asked to present to Holmes County Women’s Leadership group this past fall and decided it was time to put ideas into action.”
“I have had multiple women business owners approach the chamber with ideas so we formed a working committee and are so excited about what the Empower-HER Network can bring to Coshocton County. The Empower-HER Network will be hosting other events this year. This kickoff event will be fun, inspirational, and a great way to learn more.”
Delia Meek, chamber event chair, said, “We are very excited by the incredible response we have received in the short time the event has been made public. Our goal is to network and connect businesswomen in our community to reach their full potential with the support and encouragement of other women. And what better way that to kick it off than with a Galentine Day Event.”
The event is to celebrate women owned, operated and supported businesses. Participants will be able to network with other local business women and shop direct sales booths. Health and wellness information will be available and well as women’s fashion booths.
You will be able to learn from local women entrepreneurs and hear about membership opportunities and other ways to get involved with the community. Food, drinks and wine will be available. Vendor spaces are still available and are $25 (this includes one ticket to the event).
