Garaway Virtual Academy provides flexible options

| August 7, 2017

SUGARCREEK – Garaway Virtual Academy (GVA) is an extension of Garaway Local Schools, providing a free, online, public education for students both inside and outside of the school district. Using innovative online formats, students are able to receive a public education in a flexible and relational way. Students are able to work at their pace and on their time while also having access to extra help when needed. They are also able to take part in extracurricular activities and graduate with a Garaway diploma.

GVA coordinator, Chuck Zobel, states, “We recognize that students seek alternate options. As a school district, we want to be able to provide these options to assist students in their educational journey.”

GVA is presently enrolling students. Interested families should contact Zobel at 330-852-4699 or visit www.garawayvirtual.org for more information.

“We will work with our families to craft a situation that works for their needs,” he said. “We have many attractive options, partnerships, and opportunities to offer our students. We are here to help.”
