GentleBrook Home Health expands to offer Title XX services
COSHOCTON – GentleBrook Home Health Services has recently expanded its program and added Title XX services to its array of home care offerings. The Title XX program is funded by the federal Title XX Block Grant and is administered locally through Coshocton Job and Family Services.
GentleBrook Home Health was chosen to be the provider for this program in May. The purpose of Title XX is to provide assistance to those in the community who need help with personal care and/or homemaking and who are not eligible for other kinds of programs such as the state Medicaid or Passport programs. Job and Family Services staff assesses each applicant to determine if they meet the criteria necessary to be a part of the program, and then refer them on to GentleBrook if they qualify.
The program aims to reduce institutional care and help maintain self-sufficiency through the provision of personal care and homemaking services. Anyone with questions as to whether they would qualify for Title XX can call Coshocton Job and Family Services at 740-622-1020.
