Steve Franks Paper PictureGeorge Stephen “Steve” Franks, 60, of Coshocton passed away at his home on Friday April 25, 2014. Steve was born to the late George and B. Ruth (Gross) Franks in Coshocton on April 30, 1953. He graduated from Coshocton High School, class of 1971. Steve loved working with flowers, drawing and making gifts for friends and family. He was also a volunteer for Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, was active in UA Community Theatre in Columbus, Friends Incorporated in Columbus and Coshocton Footlight Players. Steve is survived by his two sisters Joan (Rick) Jones and Kelly (Bob) Stark both of Coshocton; a brother Erik (Tonya) Franks of Coshocton; nieces and nephews Tony (Shelly) Jones, Melissa (Travis) Webb, Bob (Jenn) Miller, Joren Franks, Jacy Franks, Chandler, Kristyn, Hayden and Mallory Burris-Jones, Damon and Belle Miller and Robert Cabell. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his niece Loren M. Miller. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St. on Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Jan Coffman officiating. A cremation will take place after funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
