| August 28, 2023

Glenn E. Mishler Jr., age 71, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away on August 21, 2023, at home with his wife, the love of his life, Cathy Webster, at his side.

Glenn was born on January 4, 1952, in Uhrichsville, Ohio to Dorothy Elizabeth and Glenn Eugene Mishler Sr. Both have preceded him in death, as did his step-father of many decades, Robert Dean Riley.

Glenn graduated from Dennison High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Ohio Northern University.

In 1981, Glenn became a loving father to Elizabeth Zimmerman (Mishler) followed by Sarah Mishler a year later. After moving to Coshocton, he welcomed Brittany Cohs (Markley) and KaLyn Markley to his family.

He was an active member of the Triple Locks Theater of Coshocton, for over 20 years. Glenn was a contributing asset backstage, on stage, set building and even serving on the board. He was a proud member of the Republican Party and loved a good political debate. He also served on the Coshocton City Council for 12 years.

Along with his wife, Cathy Webster and his children, Glenn is survived by seven grandchildren, and six younger siblings, Deborah Rist, Bruce Riley, Richard Mishler, Robert Mishler, Brenda Wallick, and Harold Riley. He was fortunate to also have many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Township Room in Roscoe Village, 318 N. Whitewoman Street, Coshocton, Ohio. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Glenn’s name to the Coshocton Animal Shelter, or in any way, that benefits our furry friends.
