Glenville Lando Hackney

Glenville Lando Hackney, 75, of Dresden, passed away on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at his home. He was born on April 9, 1946, in Vincent, Ohio to the late Jasper Daniel and Gay Beatrice (Parsons) Hackney. He was a graduate of Union Local and then served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1971. Later he worked as a civilian supervisor at the Airforce base in Heath, Ohio. On March 18, 1965, he married Lois (Adams) Hackney, who survives. He enjoyed hunting, farming and his tractors. He will be remembered as a loving person.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Jay Hackney of Dresden, and Lorrie (Gary B. Wetzel) Hackney of West Virginia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his five sisters and one brother.

A graveside service will be on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Coshocton County Memory Gardens the Coshocton County Veterans Council will be performing military honors.
