Good Friday walk planned

| March 23, 2022

Friday, April 15, is Good Friday. It is the day God’s people remember Jesus’ carrying His cross and then being crucified for the forgiveness of sins.

People will gather at the court house gazebo by noon. Pastor Mike Jansen from the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle will provide instructions along with a dedication of the walk. From there God’s People will walk east on Main Street. When arriving at Seventh Street Central Christian Church will provide a pit stop. God’s People will then head either north to Chestnut Street or south to Walnut Street, where they will turn west. Grace United Methodist Church on Walnut Street will act as another pit stop along with First Baptist Church on Chestnut Street for those who need a break. The People of God will return to the gazebo for worship and prayer led by Pastor Bryan Kittner from Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Bring a cross you can carry as you walk and pray.
