Grant “Gus” David Thaxton
Grant “Gus” David Thaxton, age 59, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was born on June 23, 1964, in Coshocton to the late David and June (Johnson) Thaxton.
Gus was a 1984 graduate of Coshocton High School and was a Security Guard at The Meadows for many years.
He enjoyed all music especially classic rock and country, going fishing and being outdoors.
Gus is survived by his cousins, Pam (Richard) Lear of Zanesville, Jeff (Jo Ellen) Harris of Pataskala, and Holly Harris of Hilliard along with their families.
Along with his parents, Gus is preceded in death by his cousin Phil Harris.
Per Gus’s wishes, a cremation will take place with burial at South Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
