Habitat for Humanity Photography Event: Building Home/Building Hope
COSHOCTON – Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with the Pomerene Center for the Arts, is looking for local photographers to enter photos in Habitat’s photography event on May 2 to showcase local photographers’ work. The theme will be “Building Home/Building Hope: Habitat’s Vision”.
All photos should in some way relate to Habitat for Humanity’s vision of everyone having a decent place to live: What makes a home? Photographs should be printed on best quality photo paper and submitted without frames or matts. Entry submission deadline is Feb. 18 with photo delivery deadline of March 2, and there is no entry fee.
Entry forms may be picked up from the Pomerene Center for the Arts at 317 Mulberry Street or the Habitat for Humanity office at 1035 Walnut Street. Forms are also available online at www.habitatcoshocton.org.
If you are thinking of submitting a photo and need to get your creative juices flowing, log onto www.pomerenearts.org/gatherings/exhibits/we’re-asking.html to access the Pomerene’s pinterest Building Home/Building Hope board of images and a series of short interviews about what makes a home.
