Half-price family memberships available at museum

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is currently offering one of its best deals of the year. Half-price family memberships are on sale now through Monday, May 31.

Through this limited-time offer, a family can purchase a year-long membership to the museum for only $25 which includes free admission, free or reduced admission to most programs, a preview party for special exhibits, a 10% discount in the gift shop and a free poster. The featured poster choices are either N.C. Wyeth’s Corn Harvest or Indian Trails of Coshocton County.

The JH Museum houses four permanent galleries featuring American Indian baskets and beadwork; Asian fine and decorative arts and weaponry; and Coshocton advertising art. JHM’s collection also includes local history and pre-historic Ohio Indian tools and points. The featured Special Exhibit is “A Playground of Color,” featuring bright, whimsical artwork created by Coshocton County elementary students. The museum also offers regular educational programming for both adults and children.

Half-price family memberships are $25 (regular price is $50). Limit one per household. Sale ends May 31.

The museum is open Friday through Sunday noon to 4 p.m. in February and Tuesday through Sunday noon to 4 p.m. March through May.
