Harriett Ann (Kanuckel) Martin

Harriett Ann (Kanuckel) Martin, 90, of Warsaw, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Middleton of Granville.

She was born Jan. 1, 1932 in Wooster to the late Frank and Evelyn (Beatty) Kanuckel. She married Charles Martin on July 22, 1951, who preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 2013.

Harriett was a 1949 graduate of Warsaw High School, a member of the Warsaw United Methodist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Superintendent and President of the United Methodist Women, she also was a former leader of the Brownies Girl Scout Troop.

She is survived by nieces & nephews, Brenda (Denny) Blanford, Dave (Shannon) Kanuckel, Denise Tumblin, and Alan Tumblin; her brother-in-law, Raymond Tumblin; and several great nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James (June) Kanuckel, and a niece, Debbie Addy.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ashley McMillin officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
