Harry D. Mardis

Harry D. Mardis, age 63, of Fresno, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022 following a brief illness. Harry was born on October 30, 1958 in Coshocton to the late George and Lillian Frances (McCormick) Mardis.

On October 9, 1982, he married the love of his life, Alisha (Mencer) Mardis. Harry worked at Kraft Foods for 39 years before retiring in 2021. He loved mushroom hunting, fishing, working on cars but most of all, he loved being with his family. Harry will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Alisha; his two daughters, Ashley (Willie) Mardis of Bakersville and Hayley (Ronnie Bates) Mardis of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Taylor Mardis, Kenzie Priest and Kharter Priest; one brother, Terry Mardis of West Lafayette, two brother-in-laws, John (Brenda)  Mencer and Chad (Sherie) Mencer and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Terry and Patricia Mencer; three brothers, David, Jack and Gerald Mardis; sister-in-laws, Janice and Nancy Mardis and brother-in-law, Wayne Mencer.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11: 00 am to 12:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.
