Health district hosting pet supply drive
Coshocton Public Health District will present a pet supply drive at 637 Chestnut Street on Friday, July 26, featuring the Coshocton Fire Department and the Coshocton County Animal Shelter & HATA.
Coshocton Public Health District proudly presents a pet supply drive in observance of pet preparedness month and pet fire safety awareness. The drive will feature guests from the Coshocton Fire Department, Coshocton County Animal Shelter & HATA, Coshocton County Dog Warden, and more.
The health district will provide a free hot dog lunch (while supplies of 100 last) for any monetary or supply donation toward the animal shelter. There will be information from local pet vendors who offer grooming services and other care.
The pet supply drive will be set up in the main parking lot in front of the Public Health District on Friday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Staff ask that you park your car and walk over to the designated event area to drop off your supplies. If you are unable to get out of your vehicle, call the health district at 740-622-1426 and someone will be out to assist you.
Kraft Heinz is donating hot dogs for the event and to Rural King donated water. The Coshocton Public Health District will be supplying the hot dog buns, chips, napkins and condiments.
