Health district hosting spring open house
The Coshocton Public Health District will be hosting a spring open house on Wednesday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate the 30th anniversary of National Public Health Week. Enjoy a light refreshment and snack while you tour the facility, visit with staff, and meet the health commissioner. Complete the newest survey, “What is Public Health?” for a chance to enter your name into the drawing for a special door prize.
The open house will take place at the main office located at 637 Chestnut St. in Coshocton. Feel free to utilize the parking lot in front of the building. This event is open to all businesses, community partners, and the general public. Guests can expect an appearance from The Real McCoy BBQ food truck for the option to purchase lunch when you arrive on-site.
“An integral part of Coshocton Public Health District is its team of dedicated individuals. This open house gives the community the opportunity to meet and learn about these individuals, programs, and services,” said Kristina Bell, health commissioner.
The health district’s mission is to ensure equitable access to care, prevent diseases, promote healthy behaviors and protect the well-being and health environment for all community members.
