Help your community do spring cleaning

COSHOCTON – If you are looking for a way to help spruce up your community this spring there are several options out there.

  • Lake Park Clean Up Day: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 11, at Lake Park. A free lunch will be provided for all of the volunteers at noon, provided by the Friends of the Parks.
  • 10th annual Clean Up Coshocton: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18. The first 100 participants will receive a free t-shirt. Donuts, water bottles, and garbage bags will be provided. Meet at the Court Square. Call 740-622-4567 with any questions.
  • Roscoe Landscape Dept. Clean Up Day: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday April 25. Volunteers can park at the Visitor Center and meet at the lower entrance. Volunteers will pick up sticks and clean leaves out of beds, so bring gloves, leaf rakes, and garden rakes and join the staff of Roscoe Landscape in getting Roscoe Village ready for the coming season. For any questions, call Connie Miller at 740-622-7644 ext. 10 and leave a message.
  • Coshocton Footlight Players’ Spring Clean Up Day: 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at the Triple Locks Theater. If you have outdoor tools, bring them. Contact Patty Wherley at 740-824-3378 with any questions.
