Hitting derby and fast pitch contest organized by Ridgewood Rec
WEST LAFAYETTE – A hitting derby and fast pitch contest is being hosted by Ridgewood Rec on Saturday, July 29.
The baseball portion of the event will be held on Field B by Ridgewood High School. Cost is $5 per event, and children can register the day of the event. Times are: 10 a.m. – 6 and under; 10:30 a.m. – 7-8 year olds; 11 a.m. – 9-10 year olds; 11:30 a.m. – 11-12 year olds; noon – 13-14 year olds. Baseball ages will be determined as of May 1, 2017. The contest for softball players will be on Field A by Ridgewood High School. Cost is $5 per event. Age divisions and times are: 10 a.m. – 5-6 year olds; 10:20 a.m. – 7-9 year olds; 10:40 a.m. – 10-12 year olds; 11 a.m. – 13-14 year olds. Ages for softball are determined by age on Dec. 31, 2016.
