Horse and buggy accident reported on CR 10

On March 9, 2021, at approximately 8:22 a.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on CR 10.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Linda G. Yoder, 21-years-old, of Fresno, was operating a horse drawn buggy northbound on CR 10 in the 32000 block, when something startled the horse. The horse and buggy went off the right side of the road and tried to come back onto the road, when the buggy was stuck on a guardrail. Yoder was transported by private vehicle to Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene was Baltic Fire and Rescue along with Coshocton County EMS.
