Imogene ‘Jeannie’ Lee (Yoho) Karr

Imogene “Jeannie” Lee (Yoho) Karr, 88, of Zanesville, passed away November 8, 2022.

Jeannie was born on May 1, 1934, in Stockport, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Bailey) Yoho.

She was formerly of Cambridge and a graduate of Cambridge High School, class of 1952.

She is survived by her best friend and loving husband, J. Wayne Karr of Zanesville, whom she married in August, 1974, her sister Eleanor (William) Long of Cambridge, her in-laws, Robert (Karen) Edwards, Judy and Bob Bowan, Cindy Stockdale, and Aunt Jean Glenn. Also left to cherish her memory are her children, Garry (Debbie) Edwards, Sherryl Edwards Robertson, Lynn Karr (Jerry Arohalt), Janet Karr (Steve) Seward, Susan O’Brien, and David (Maria) Karr.

She will be especially missed by their special grandchildren from Jeannie and Wayne’s blended family, Misty (Cory) Smith, Karla (Greg) Schmied, Michael (Zoe) Edwards, Dustin (Jessica) McElhaney, Josh (Abby) McElhaney, Maggie (Boyd) Brown, and Alex (Evelyn) Robertson, Robbie Miller, Carrie Miller, Brian Young, Matthew Young, Michael O’Brien, and Jennifer O’Brien, Kristy Karr, Gaby Karr, Wayne Karr and her twenty-four great grandchildren.

Per Jeannie’s request, there will be no services. Burial and cremation will be at Keene Cemetery, Keene, Ohio.
