Injury accident reported in Jackson Township

On April 24 at approximately 9:02 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident in the area of US 36 and CR 495, in Jackson Township.

Upon arrival of deputies it was determined that a 21-year-old male, Chase Chaney of Kilbuck, was traveling west on US 36 when he rear-ended a 43-year-old male, Darrell Lanham of Coshocton, who had stopped on US 36 to make a left-turn onto CR 495.

Lanham was transported to Genesis of Coshocton by Coshocton County EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.

Chaney did not report any injuries. Chaney had one passenger, an 18-year-old male, Caleb Johnson of Coshocton, who also reported no injuries.

Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Jackson Township Fire Department, and REACT.
