Irene (Foster) McNichols

Irene (Foster) McNichols, age 84, of Coshocton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 14, 2024. She was born on November 27, 1939, to the late James and Blanche (Lapp) Foster.

She graduated from Conesville High School and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was the most loving, kind, honest, and hardworking Mother and Wife who enjoyed trips with her family, eating at Bob Evans, shopping at thrift stores and cooking food for family and friends.

Irene married Patrick D. McNichols who passed away in June of 1996.  She is survived by her four loving children, David McNichols of Coshocton, Darrell (Patty) McNichols of Mt. Vernon, Darlene (Steve) Saylor of Coshocton and Dianna (Jim Dunfee) Iceman of Coshocton. 12 grandchildren, Heather (Jason Stary) Newbaugh, Chris McNichols, Jason (Susie) McNichols, Carrie (Danny) Hewison, Trisha Wilson, Keith Wilson, Alicia Wilson, Brittney Iceman, Austin Saylor, Dustin (Dan) Taylor, Candis (Jesse) Horton and Cody (Amber) Iceman. Eight great-grandchildren, Haylee, kolton, Ethan, Riley, Karson, Kannon, Kenzlee and Athena; two brothers, Lewis (Ruth) Foster and Harold (Brenda) Foster; three sisters, Janet Fender, Barb McNeal, and Mary Crouso, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Bertha (Fisher) Lapp, Wade Foster and Jessie Dawson; mother and father-in-law, Francis and Florence McNichols. brother, James Foster; sisters, Lucille Foster and Frances Erman; brothers-in-laws, Dennis Fender, Jack McNeal, Joseph Erman and James Crouso. Uncles, George Lapp and Kenneth Barnes and Aunt, Bernice Barnes and Cousins, Bob Baker and Betty Husson.

Irene leaves behind a great group of family, friends, and neighbors. Thanks to all for your love and friendship!

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Father Homer Blubaugh officiating. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
