Ivey Pearl ‘Pinky’ Phillips

Ivey Pearl “Pinky” Phillips, 64, of Baltic and formerly of Coshocton passed away at 11:57 A.M., Friday, December 26, 2014 at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

Born September 27, 1950 in  Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late Saint Elmo and Nellie  Irene (Bechtol) Griffith.

Ivey had been employed as an office  worker in the Nellie KnoHoKo office. She first was married to Larry Young and on December 30, 1989 she married Kenneth Phillips who preceded her in death on January 18, 2013.

Ivey adored her grandchildren, loved going to flea markets, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Dale Earnhardt was her favorite. Ivey will be remembered for her outspoken personality.

She truly will be missed by a special companion Terry Hayden Miller of Baltic, three sons Larry Young, Jr. and fiancée Tina Selph of Coshocton; Scott (Jennifer) Young of Sugarcreek, Bill Young of West Lafayette; four grandchildren Shawna Schie, Tricia Young, Brandon Young all of Sugarcreek, Devin Mounts of Coshocton, five great-grandchildren Seth, Xavier, Madison, Caiden, Adrianna all of Sugarcreek; a sister Ann Stubbs of Coshocton, and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ivey was preceded in death by a grandson Shane Mounts and a sister Marge Barker.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with  Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M., Friday prior to the funeral service at the Free Funeral Home.
