James L. Lauvray
James L. “Jim” Lauvray, 72, of Coshocton went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday June 26, 2015 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Jim was born at home on June 17, 1943, the son of Laura E. (Hiser) Lauvray and the late Vincent “Jack” Lauvray. A graduate of Sacred Heart School, he retired from James B. Clow and Sons after forty-one years of service. Jim served in the Army Reserves for six years and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Knights of Columbus and the Coshocton Sportsmans Club. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, he loved his family very much and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and archery. Jim is survived by his wife Marilyn A. (Shuck) Lauvray, who he married on August 13, 1966; mother Laura E. Lauvray of Coshocton; son Greg (Michelle) Lauvray of Coshocton; daughters Amy (Carl) Hurlebaus of Sarasota, FL and Tammy (Fred) Piehl of LaJolla, CA; five grandchildren Nicholas Lauvray, Colston Lauvray, Eva Hurlebaus, Lily and Rhys Piehl; two brothers Don (Shirley) Lauvray of Plainfield and Dave (Ina) Lauvray of Coshocton; sister Jean (Noah) Raber of Coshocton County; several nieces and nephews. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Ellen Lauvray. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM and 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery where Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and/or Sacred Heart School, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
