James R. Bradford

James Ralph “Jim” Bradford, 79, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born June 15, 1942 in Plainfield to the late John E. and Dorothy May Bradford. He married Linda Linnetta (Dickerson) Bradford on April 14, 1967, who preceded him in death on April 11, 2012. He worked for Baird Concrete for 42 years until his retirement.

Jim was a member of Coshocton Eagles Aerie #761, and he enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

He is survived by three daughters, Jayme (Billy) Mounts of Conesville, Johnie (Michael Jr.) Wesney of Brinkhaven, and Jessie Bradford of West Carlisle; six grandchildren, Gage, Dakota, & Bryce Wesney, and Bella, Zoey, & Landen Mounts; a brother, Jerry Bradford of Plainfield; several nieces & nephews; very special family members, Debbie Miller, Valerie Thornsley, & Max Thornsley, all of Coshocton; brothers-in-law, Max Hughes of Warsaw, and Lowell (Darlene) Dickerson of Coshocton; and sisters-in-law, Sue Bradford  of Conesville, and Jackie Dickerson of West Carlisle.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by siblings, Gene Bradford, Beverly Wright, and Thomas Leroy “Dick” Bradford; several half-brothers & half-sisters; a sister-in-law, Roberta J. “Bobbi” Hughes; and a brother-in-law, Robert Dickerson, Jr.

Jim’s family will receive visitors at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
