Jan. 6 accident involves a pedestrian
On Jan. 6, at approximately 1:25 p.m. the sheriff’s office received a 911 call advising of a one vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that a Randy Conklin (63) of Warsaw was driving a 2002 Toyota Rav4 on SR 541 and Sr 60. The vehicle broke down and the passenger Owen Conklin (66) of Coshocton got out of the vehicle to help Randy guide the vehicle back down the hill. While directing him back down the hill Owen was struck by their vehicle. Owen was transported by Coshocton County EMS to Genesis Hospital with unknown injuries.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Walhonding Valley Fire District and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
