Janeann (Rine) Guinther

COSHOCTON – Janeann (Rine) Guinther, age 91, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018.

Janeann was born in Coshocton on February 9, 1927 to the late David W. and Nellie (Shaffer) Rine. After graduating high school, Janeann worked for Indianapolis Glove, Edmonts, JJ Newberry, and Leroys Jewelry and then went on to work for General Electric as a quality inspector until she retired. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW #1330 and American Legion Post 65. She was a past president of the VFW and also was a chaplain for the American Legion.

Janeann is survived by two sons, C. Joe (Becki) and Larry (Shirley) Guinther, four grandchildren: Shane (Michelle) and Chad (Sarah) Guinther, Chad (Sherry) Chema, and Lisa Harper; four great-grandchildren: Gavin and Jaxson Guinther, Hayley Harper, and Lauren Light; sister-in-law, Jean Rine, several nieces and nephews, and her four-legged fur baby, Ellie May.

Along with her parents, Janeann is preceded in death by her brother, David “Bud,” and her sister, Betty.

Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6-8 pm and on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10-11 am. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am with Father Victor R. Wesolowski officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
