Jean E. Durben Delaney
FRESNO – Jean E. Durben Delaney age 89 of Fresno, Ohio died Friday March 30, 2018 in Zanesville, Ohio.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday April 3, 2018 at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Dan Eggan officiating. There will be no calling hours. Free Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Jean was born August 17, 1928 and was the daughter of John and Mildred (Lederer) James. She married Kenneth Durben and he preceded her in death. She later married Vincent Delaney and he preceded her in death. Jean had worked for General Electric, she owned Jean’s ceramics and she was the owner and retired from West Lafayette Transfer Trucking Company. She was a member of Fresno United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son Daniel (Billie) Durben of Newcomerstown, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers John James and David James.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Dianna Geese, granddaughter Holly Durben and four brothers Donald, Lawrence, Clyde and Glenn.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
