Jeffrey T. Fisher

Jeffrey Troy Fisher, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his residence with his daughter, Tiffany, by his side.

Jeff was born Jan. 3, 1966 in Coshocton to the late John R. and Carol Jean (Lipps) Fisher. Jeff graduated from River View High School in 1985. He inherited his father’s sawmill where he worked and loved cutting timber for many years. He maintained employment at Seaman Corporation for 23 years. Jeff spent his life being a workaholic and having pride in his job as an operator of line 9. He loved his cats and wildlife that surrounded him at home. Jeff was very loved by his family, especially his two daughters who were very close to him. His lifelong dream was to visit the Redwood National Park in California. After being diagnosed with cancer in April of 2023, he flew to California despite his sickness to fulfill this dream with his family. Jeff will be forever missed.

He is survived by his two daughters, Chelsey (Javin) Hagy of Newcomerstown, and Tiffany Fisher of Killbuck; grandchildren, Caydin and Corbin Hagy; and a brother, Brian Fisher of Coshocton.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Big Run Cemetery in Monroe Twp., with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
