Jerry A. McCoy, 69, of Coshocton passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Coshocton on October 30, 1951 to the late James and Mary (Wilson) McCoy.  Jerry graduated from Coshocton High School and retired from Rock Ten in Coshocton.  He was a member of the Coshocton Moose Lodge, Sportsman Club, loved fishing, camping, playing shuffleboard, but truly treasured spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren.

Jerry traveled the state playing guitar with his nephew Billy Moody.  He was also well known for dedicating his time coaching track and biddy league football for Coshocton Schools.

He is survived by his wife Darlene McCoy whom he married March 3, 1972; three children Renee (Bill) Duhamell, Tracy (Jay) Kittell, and Jed (Amanda) McCoy all of Coshocton; grandchildren Justin (Kelsey) Duhamell, Allison Kittell, Dejay (Clay) Wilson, Julia (Brent) Bryant, Andrew Kittell, James, Haley and Callie McCoy; great grandchildren Cash, Adley and Colt Duhamell, Lexi Wilson, Owen and Barrett Bryant; one sister Linda Moody of Coshocton; two brothers Bill McCoy and Henry (Kate) McCoy both of Coshocton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother John McCoy; brother Levern Werber; sister Joyce McCoy; sister-in-law Sharon McCoy and brother-in-law Bill Moody.

Calling hours will be held at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
