John A. Wright
John A. Wright, 83, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023 at Altercare of Coshocton. He was born in Coshocton County on April 30, 1940 to the late Forrest and Lucille (Fowler) Wright.
John had an associate degree in Business and worked for Peabody Coal for many years before retiring. He was also a member of the Coshocton AMVETS.
He is survived by his children Pam (Chris) Covic of Coshocton and Greg (Peggy) Wright of Coulterville, IL; grandchildren Cory and Justin (Donna) Covic of Coshocton, and David (Megan) and Brandon Wright both of IL. Six Great grandchildren, Zoey, Lincoln, Aurelia, Charlotte, Eliana, Addison, and Jacob; and sister Leona Schriber of WA.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann (Moore) Wright, who passed away April 4, 2020; and his brother Web Wright.
Per John’s wishes a cremation will take place and a graveside will be held at a later date. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Coshocton is serving the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
