John Daniel Holskey
HENDERSON, KY – John Daniel Holskey, age 73, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 11:44 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at his home.
John was preceded in death by his father, John D. Holskey, his mother, Elizabeth Holskey, and a brother, Lawrence Holskey.
John worked at Hunt & Crawford Company for 7 years in Coshocton, Ohio. He had worked as an assistant supervisor at Peabody Coal for 33 years. He was a member of the New Lexington Masonic Lodge #250 in Ohio. John enjoyed playing blackjack, poker with his family, and all sports. He always attended his grandchildren’s sporting events that he spoiled rotten. Anyone that knew John, knew they were the focus of his life.

1 Daughter: Tina Combs (Gabe) of Corydon, KY
1 Son: J.D. Holskey (Beth) of Henderson, KY
1 Sister: Marcella Lowe (Roy) of Warsaw, OH
1 Brother: Earl Gossett (Nita) of Byesville, OH
5 Grandchildren: Macie Combs, Kylie Combs, Colton Holskey, Haedyn Holskey, Brody Kocher

Relatives and friends are invited to John’s Life Celebration on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the service time at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Schwartz and Reverend Jamie Wilke officiating. A Masonic service will be held at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
