John J. Krownapple, Sr.
WARSAW- John J. Krownapple, Sr., 73, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2018 at his residence.
He was born April 10, 1945 in Spring Mountain to the late Paul and Elzora (Mullet) Krownapple. He married Marilyn E. (Sampsel) Krownapple on Aug. 26, 1964, who preceded him in death on April 30, 2017. He was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1963-1966. He retired after working at the former Rice-Chadwick and as an administrator for the Moose.
He is survived by four children, John Joseph (Kim) Krownapple of Warsaw, Tracy Byland of Millersburg, James (Jacqui) Krownapple of Clark, and Raymond (Andrea) Krownapple of Killbuck; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren plus one expected; two brothers, Bobby Krownapple of Reston, and David (Pam) Krownapple of Shreve, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, one brother, Paul Krownapple, Jr., and one sister, Ruth Felton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Mountain Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard. A celebration of John’s life will take place at the Clark Community Center following the committal.
