Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum wants your photos

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum wants to showcase regional photographers in its upcoming photography show, Capture the Light, starting on Sept. 25.

This is an open call. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the most conceptual or experimental. The only criteria for entry are that artists must be at least 18 years old and must reside, work, go to school, or have grown up in Coshocton, Muskingum, Licking, Holmes, or Tuscarawas counties. Entry deadline is Sunday, Aug. 8.

Entrants will be notified of acceptance within 12 days after the deadline. There is an entry fee of $15 for up to 10 entries submitted. Cost is $5 per each additional entry. Fees are non-refundable. Number of entries is unlimited. Entry fee must be paid by U.S. check made payable to The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, or by credit card via Square. If paying by Square, you will receive a secure invoice to your email address. Any fee payment must reference your name, or you must notify the museum if another party is paying your fee. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is open daily from noon to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman St., in Historic Roscoe Village.
