| December 23, 2024

Jonathan Tyler Johnson, age 33, of Coshocton, went to be in the Presence of his Loving Savior JESUS CHRIST on December 19, 2024. He was born on December 2, 1991 in Boone, North Carolina to Ralph and Betty (Farmer) Johnson.

In this life we do not always have all of the answers to how things happen and turn out.  However, in the case of our Dear Jonathan, we do have the Blessed and Calm Assurance of his Spiritual State and Standing with his Blessed Lord.  Jonathan was Born Again at an early age by Believing in what JESUS CHRIST accomplished on the Cross of Calvary through HIS Death, Shed Blood, and Resurrection from the dead to take away his sins and by receiving JESUS into his Heart and Life by Faith as his Savior and Redeemer.  Jonathan Loved the Lord JESUS and spent much time in HIS Word Studying and Praying, reading his Bible through three times in just the last year alone.

Jonathan was also Blessed with his greatest talent and ability that the Lord gave to him, and that was to Play the Piano and Organ.  Jonathan Played the Piano and Organ in most of the services of Victory Baptist Church along with playing many different specials.   Jonathan Love his Church and Church Family for they were the regular Family and Fellowship that he met with every week.

Jonathan loved to paint his own pictures of which most consisted of different Spiritual Themes, such as The Glory of GOD and Heaven.   He also loved to buy many little trinkets to fill the shelves of his room.  Jonathan bought and read many books of which most were Spiritual, and had two bookcases full.  His greatest recreation was to play pool with his dad.  In all, he owned three pool tables of his own and was a very accomplished player.  Jonathan and his dad also liked to play golf together from time to time.

Jonathan Loved his Family.  Since he always lived with his parents, they were all very close in doing many things together on a regular basis.  He Loved his Mom and Dad, but his Mom was his closest and dearest friend, helping, working, and doing many, many things together.  Jonathan Loved his sister Shannon and her husband Chris, and he especially Loved and Cherished his three nieces Shiloh, Trinity, and Haven.

In the past Jonathan attended and graduated with a Political Science Degree from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida.

Along with his parents, Jonathan is survived by his siblings, Shannon (Chris) Long of Cincinnati and Christopher (May) Johnson of Coshocton; nieces, Shiloh, Trinity and Haven Long and Rilei and Kalei Johnson; grandfather, RC Johnson; aunts and uncles, Rudy (Theresa) Johnson, Shelia Church, Linda Farmer and Sheri Farmer, as well as his very good friends from college, Kevin Stembridge and the Gregory’s.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Mary Farmer and Sarah Faith Johnson and uncles, Jerry and Jackie Farmer.  Jonathan, like many, will be Greatly Missed until we see him again.

Calling hours will be at the Victory Baptist Church at 355 Browns Lane, Coshocton on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 12pm to 1pm. The funeral service will begin at 1pm with his father and Pastor, Ralph Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
