Joyce Dean (Chaney) West
Joyce Dean (Chaney) West, 86, of Coshocton, and formerly of Tiverton Center, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2022, at Signature Health Care of Coshocton.
Born Oct. 23, 1935, in Magnolia, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Hilda M. (Brankel) Chaney. On Dec. 9, 1951, she married Wilson Porter West, who preceded her in death on June 7, 2013.
Mrs. West was a homemaker and lifelong farm wife.
She is survived by one son, Danny (Karen) West of Coshocton; three daughters, Crystal Lydic of Millersburg, Ohio, Brenda Eaches of Coshocton, and Beth Johnson of Sidney, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and two sisters-in-law.
One of 12 children, she was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, three sisters and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg, Ohio, with Rev. R. Michael Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Killbuck Cemetery in Killbuck, Ohio. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
