Joyce Madeline Thomas
COSHOCTON – Joyce Madeline Thomas, 75, of Coshocton passed away August29, 2017 at Signature Health Care, surrounded by her family. She was born in Coshocton, on August 9, 1942 to the late Theodore and Caroline (Shaffer) Rine. She graduated from Coshocton High School and served as a dispatcher for the Coshocton County Sheriff’s office. She volunteered her time as a foster grandparent at the Coshocton Elementary. She enjoyed reading her bible, crafting, baking and spending time with family.
Joyce is survived by her children, Patrick (Darlene) Thomas of Florida and Jacqueline (Vince) Hershberger of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Shanna (Shane) Stanton, Jordan (Paul) Pabin, Ryan (Linda) Thomas, Dustin (Andrew) Thomas; step grandchildren, Tiffany Vickers, Cheyenne Shaw, Shawnee Shaw; great- grandchildren, Zayvia, Zane, Zaxton and Zylee Stanton, Kailyn Pabin, Lilly, Talon and Joey Maple; brother, Harold (Mary) Rine; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Rine; many nieces and nephews and special friend and neighbor Lois Wright.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Donald Rine.
Per Joyce’s wishes a cremation will take place at a later date.
