Joyce Mae Marlatt died unexpectedly on March 1, 2022, in Coshocton.

She was born on July 30, 1954, in Coshocton to the late Charles and Doris (Miskimen) Marlatt.

After attending elementary school in Coshocton, the family moved to Cambridge, where Joyce finished her high school education. After attending The Ohio State University, Joyce settled in Columbus and set out on a varied career path. Her favorite occupation was floral arranging. She owned and designed at The Unique Floral Shop in Powell.

She is survived by her sister, Diana Marlatt of Coshocton; cousins; and dear friend, Corey Ladson.

Joyce was a loving, caring, and giving woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5, 2022, officiated by Charles Snyder. Joyce will be laid to rest with her parents in Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge at a later date.
